Terms and Conditions

Before ordering a human portrait or pet/animal drawing, it is important that you read my Terms and Conditions. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to email me at any time.

7 Day Refund

Clients have a no quibble 7 day refund guaranteed from order date after which they will receive a full refund.

Cancellation Deposit

A non-refundable deposit is required – £10 for graphite/monotone and £20 for coloured pencil drawings. Clients wishing to cancel before artwork starts, outside of the 7 day refund period is acceptable, however the deposit will be retained to cover processing, administration, mock-ups, website client application process and email correspondence.

Before work commences

Full payment must be made. I invoice via email the final total prior to starting work which is payable either by cheque/bankers draft or international money order to be made out to Mrs JA Maguire.

Cancellation of Completed Artwork Before Shipping

Customers wishing to cancel on completion of the artwork before shipping can do so, however the deposit plus 50% of the final payment total will be kept.

Rejection of Work Once Shipped

On receiving completed artwork, you have 7 days to contact me about any changes required. If the client returns the work for alterations they must meet the costs of shipping both ways. Once changes have been made, if the customer is still dissatisfied and requires a refund, the deposit plus 60% of the final payment total will be retained.

Should you subsequently wish to have a refund, but decline the opportunity for me to make changes, an imbursement will only be made once the client has returned the artwork to me in its original condition, in original packaging within 7 days of delivery. Deposit plus 60% of the final payment total will be retained. Framing, prints or shipping costs cannot be refunded.

Currency Exchange

Prices indicated in UK pounds. Click on this currency converter to view currency options. Residents outside the UK, please ensure that you email me before ordering to enable us to agree the correct fee. All payments and refunds will be made in UK pounds and the artist will not be held accountable for any loss caused by exchange rate fluctuations.

Delivery

Worldwide commissions are always welcome. I use a range of delivery services appropriate to the country destination. Delivery costs will be confirmed on quotation of individual commission.

Damaged Order

Artwork is packed to a very high standard, however, in the unlikely event that your order is damaged, please photograph the packaging and artwork and email me immediately. The artwork must be returned to me in its original packaging at the client’s cost. Once received, I will redraw the work at no cost. Lead time will depend on my workload at that time.

Copyright is retained on all artwork that I produce, thereby reserving the right to use my work on my suburban art jam website as a form of advertising. Customer emails, in whole or partly, may also be used as a testimonial on my website. Please let me know when ordering if you are uncomfortable having your commissioned artwork or emails displayed on my website.
